Dental Research- PBRNThe Dental National Practice Based Research Network
Our office participates in dental research to improve the dental health of all our patients.
The National Dental Practice Based Research Network is an organization funded by the National Institute of Health, through the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. We are active members of this group.
Private practicing dentists and others who are members of the NDPBRN are committed to finding the best ways to care for their patients. This is done by objectively evaluating treatments in real world conditions.
Dr. Barr attended the first meeting of the Northeast Region of the NDPBRN in March 2013. The first studies have begun in our office with the cracked tooth study, and a study about treatments for sensitive teeth.
